Many ski resorts offer midweek and homeschool-specific group classes; it’s a great opportunity to hit the slopes without the crowds. You can find all of NH’s resorts and contact information here on our website. Below are a few of the available programs for the coming season – it will be here before we know it!
Pat’s Peak – Monday-only group, contact is Laura Stockton at lj.stockton5@gmail.com or call 603-497-2685, registration open through November 15.
All homeschoolers are invited to learn to ski/snowboard at Pats Peak in Henniker, NH. This program is offered to all students in 1st -12th grades (must be 6 by 1/1/21).
It features a one-hour ski or snowboard lesson, lift use for the whole day and optional rental package.
DATES: Every Monday, beginning 1/4/21 (5 week program) No classes (Civil Rights Day) Monday January 18, 2021. Make up class for Civil Rights Day is Monday February 8, 2021. If the weather is too bad, I will reschedule for the next Monday. No individual make-ups.
TIMES: Lessons are at 1:30PM but they can ski the whole day (they open at 8:30a close at 9:30p)

Registration is now until Nov 15th. There is no late fee this year but registering after that makes it more difficult for Pats Peak and me. So please do not wait until the end of December!

REGISTRATION: Go to www.patspeak.com, on the front page you will see “Learn to Ski and Ride Program Register Online Here” You will need the Access code: FirstAgape2021 (Please note this is case sensitive with no spaces)
REFUNDS: There are no refunds once you purchase this program, rental and perks. However, for the 2020-2021 season to alleviate uncertainty and provide flexibility, you can transfer your program to the 2022 season for any reason. There is no fee to transfer your program to the 2022 Learn to Ski & Ride Program. You will need to contact us via info@patspeak.com before January 1, 2021 for 1st session.
Pat’s Peak – Monday and Thursday program
In addition to the Mondays 5-week homeschool group, Pat’s Peak also offers individual days for homeschoolers. Homeschoolers can ski or ride at a discounted rate with no commitment to a long-term program. Reservations are now open and must be secured prior to selected day(s). (Note: Bypass password and username section as neither are required to register.)
Homeschoolers will have use of the lodge and although cubbies used for storing gear have been removed, due to Covid-19, rental lockers are available. Additionally, it is highly recommended skiers and riders limit their use of the lodge for dressing for the mountain.
