Many national and local retailers support home education by offering various discount programs. Some require a copy of your notification letter or acknowledgement letter from your Participating Agency, while others accept home ed ID cards. Some organizations, such as HSLDA, offer ID cards to their members. We also have a list of resources for ID cards at the bottom of this page.

While these IDs will usually suffice for teacher and student discounts, they are not official IDs and may not be accepted in some situations such as entrance exams or employment paperwork.
