One of the great bonuses to living in New Hampshire is access to so many fabulous mountains to enjoy winter sports. Several area ski facilities offer a variety  of alpine, nordic, and snowboard programs just for home educated students.  Many have groups already in place; ask to be connected with the coordinator, or consider starting one of your own. Please contact them directly for more information including pricing, schedules, availability, or to register. Also note that some local public schools and recreation departments offer group ski programs, too.

Ski NH has a special program for 4th and 5th students. It offers one ticket for each of Ski NH's member areas at a greatly reduced price. Homeschoolers are eligible to participate and have a separate verification process.

There's also a Facebook group specifically for organizing ski and winter sports opportunities for homeschoolers in northern New England called Ski, Snowboard & Winter Sports Unschool/Homeschool NH MA ME.
