Applying for College 101 Event

GSHE teamed up again with the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) to provide a college planning event just for homeschoolers on April 20, 2021.

Selecting colleges and applying for admission can be overwhelming. There are applications to be completed, deadlines to meet, essays to write, and policies to understand, and more. Topics included narrowing your list, questions to ask on a college tour, college essay pointers, the application timeline, and the basics of financial aid. NHHEAF’s publication, College Insider, is a handy reference tool for the application process.

For more information about homeschooling at the high-school level, look on GSHE's website in High School & Beyond.

Earlier in the 2020-21 academic year, GSHE co-hosted two other college counseling events with NHHEAF and the videos are available on our website in the Videos section, on our YouTube channel, and linked below.

GSHE is working on plans to host additional events with NHHEAF to support our high-school homeschooling families. Please let us know if there are particular topics you’d like us to cover.
