We will be starting the first of the Little House books learning fun facts and trivia, games and arts & crafts.covered wagon image

We are going to start this series off with a little craft.

“Mary was bigger than Laura, and she had a rag doll named Nettie. Laura had only a corncob wrapped in a handkerchief, but it was a good doll. It was named Susan. It wasn’t Susan’s fault that she was only a corncob. Sometimes Mary let Laura hold Nettie, but she only did it when Susan couldn’t see.” ~

We will be making Corn Cob Dolls for our first meeting!

We encourage each child to dress in their “pioneer best”! My daughter, Cailee will be wearing her “Laura” prairie dress with her matching bonnet, apron, shoes, pataloons and boots!
