Yesterday afternoon the Currier Museum of Art was filled with families, students, teachers, legislators, and supporters of educational options as we all celebrated National School Choice Week in New Hampshire. The earlier storm was no damper on the festivities with over 200 people in attendance.
Governor Chris Sununu officially declared January 22 to 28, 2017 to be National School Choice Week in New Hampshire!
We were thrilled to partner with several organizations to make our celebration event truly spectacular. We want to thank Children’s Scholarship Fund NH, NH Alliance for Public Charter Schools, Granite State Home Educators, NH Catholic Schools, and National School Choice Week.
We also want to give a special shout out to the schools and students that performed — Robotics Team Phoenix #2342, Christopher Duffley, Granite State Arts Academy, Gate City Charter School for the Arts, Bishop Brady High School, and Portsmouth Christian Academy. They were absolutely amazing.
We also wish to share a video produced for this event in conjunction with Children’s Scholarship Fund NH and Granite State Home Educators. We collected over a hundred photos from families across the state to show how home educated students have NH and the world as their classrooms. Enjoy!
